Biography:
There are many children who act, but very few who do so on an equal footing with their adult peers. Kirsten was born on April 30, 1982, in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Her mother, Inez, is an artist, her father is an executive, and she has one brother, Christian. Kirsten graduated from Notre Dame High School in Los Angeles. Although Kirsten is a young actress, she is an accomplished professional, and is living proof that age is not a measure of one's talent or success. Dunst got her professional start at the age of three when she began filming television commercials. With more than 100 commercials to her credit, she made the jump to the big screen in 1989 in Woody Allen?s New York Stories.
